First and foremost: a big thank you to all those who came down for the preliminary rounds.

A pat on the back for the new players, Nor Shah and Joshua, for having the courage take the Jyhad to the older Methuselahs.

Everyone Should Play VtES - by The Gothsicles

The Gothsicles have recorded a song about this really cool game!

Here's the lyrics, taken from extrala's blog:

It's our designated weeknight
Or weekend if you roll that way
I brought a couple a' beers
But save like six for me, okay?
'Cause like an adult swim
I'm always out of the pool
I got an academic hunting ground
'Cause I'm always getting schooled

I've got a history
Of playing inadmissibly
To any tournament I see
'Cause I get killed by Chimerstry
You're thinking moves ahead
I'm struggling with card text
And trying to determine
The effects of Rötschreck

It's got great group dynamics
And that keeps me coming back
Even though all I'm good at
Is the pre-game talking smack
I'll threaten you
With my brand new
Inner Circle Toreador
Then watch you pound me into the ground
With cards from '94

I've got a history
Of playing inadmissibly
To any tournament I see
'Cause I get killed by progeny
You're thinking moves ahead
I'm struggling with card text
And trying to determine
Rötschreck's effects

I've got a history
Of playing inadmissibly
At every tournament I see
'Cause I get killed by Thaumaturgy
You're thinking moves ahead
I'm struggling with card text
And wondering what horrid combo
You'll throw at me next

Ruling: Guruhi are the Land

It seems that Guruhi are the Land cannot be
played after the resolution of an action (since there is no window to do so).

Heirs to the Blood Release Date Change Confirmed

The new official release date has been set to Feb 3, 2010.
Check out the WW official page.

Word has it that there were problems with the printer.
:(

Oscar has this to say:
Ladies and Gentlemen, I understand the pains this particular release has put on the community as a whole. The problems we have run into were unforeseen and regrettable but solvable. This set will be released to the standards of quality we try to enforce or every set we release. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for understanding. -Oscar Garza, Organized Play Coordinator.

Release Date for Heirs to the Blood Extended?

It would seem that the release date for Heirs to the Blood has been pushed back to sometime in March, next year.

White Wolf might have run into problems with the printers.

There is some good news, however.

For more information, check out extrala's V:tES blog.

Blood Inc. (20/10/2009)

Results:

Game #1:
Ben Chia -> Yeqi -> Richard -> Bann(5 VP) -> YY

Toreador Presence Anarch swept the table even with wall decks as both predator and prey. Too many cracks in the walls, methinks. :)

Game #2:
Stephen(3 VP) -> Dzaki -> Damian(1 VP) -> Gee Hwan

I wasn't at the this table, but it ended in less than an hour. Something about a stealth bleeding Abomination.

Game #3:
Ben Chia -> Stephen -> Yeqi(3 VP) -> Bann (1 VP)

Game #4:
Damian -> Dzaki(1 VP) -> Gee Hwan -> Richard(4 VP) -> YY

This turned out to a lesson in why you should never cripple your predator, lest our grand predator sweeps the table.
